omega Mack having this teething problem because he had just presented so he keeps biting his things, like the string of his hoodies, the straw of his water bottles, his lips, his nails, his mouth guard. Everything he can chew on, he does. That ended when Mack was old enough, comfortable in his designation, and honestly he thought the teething thing was just temporarily until his omega fangs developed.
That seemed to be an incorrect theory though.
Because when he met Will, alpha, blond, stupidly pretty, scent so mouthwatering and an incredible personality, his teeth started to ache again. He first thought maybe he had caries on his teeth, maybe he ate too much candy when he was a kid and it is paying off now. He doesnโt know. But his teeth fucking ache. It gets worse around Will, he has noticed that. But Mack canโt come up to Will and go โoh hey! my teeth ache so bad can I bite you?โ
So he starts chewing on things again, the only difference is that this time, instead of bringing him relief, it just brings him desperation. An instinctual part of him knows that chewing on straws or hoodie strings is not what he wants. Will starts to notice then, how much Mack likes to bite onto things. He thinks itโs cute, until one day Mack confesses to him that his teeth truly ache and his gums are itchy and he might as well just die.
So Will takes the matter into his own hands. He searches and investigates about omegaโs teething behavior, he finds many things, many things: in newly presented omegas is a normal occurrence, in omegas that had an oral fixation, in omegas that were pregnant, in unmated omegas that found someone attractive therefore his body telling them to bite and mark before someone else steals them.
Will knows then, what might be happening. He isnโt blind, he could be dumb but not blind. So he comes up to Mack one day, asks him about his teeth ache once again, Mack whines and tells Will it is getting worse. He shows him his forearms, filled with small indents of Mackโs teeth, some marks redder and more recent. Will carefully caress each mark, making Mack squirm in his place. And then looks up and says โdo you wanna bite me instead?โ
Mack thinks he died there. He doesnโt truly know because suddenly he is sinking his teeth into Willโs arms, and his omega is so happy and relaxed and his teeth stop aching so Mack doesnโt stop for a while really. Will just watches him, a small knowing smile on his face, it doesnโt hurt really, Mackโs fangs were small enough. When Mack finally stops, he looks over Willโs arms, looking at them with an awe expression. Mack notices his gums stopped itching, and that his teeth werenโt hurting anymore.
Will then huffs under his breath, and tells Mack he can do it whenever he needs it. It might be a mistake, because then Mack is always on him like a fucking leech, biting and marking and one day he even purred in pure bliss of sinking his teeth in Willโs skin. It became a common occurrence, a routine if you must. After every practice or game or even when Mack was just relaxed, he would bring one of Willโs arms on his mouth and bite.
Their teammates started to notice the red marks on Willโs forearm and at first they teased him for that, telling him that if he had a shark (no pun intended) as a mate or what. Until one day Will comes into practice, a bigass teeth mark on his neck, a mix of purple and red and it looks so raw, people started to actually worry Will was being bullied or something. Mack tried not to show any emotion to that, he didnโt want to be part of it even if he was actually the culprit. So Will then just glances at Mack for a second, smiles and says: Well, I actually have an omega whose teeth are always itching. The guys thought it was a joke, so they laughed, firstly because wow Will Smith alpha actually has an omega??? and secondly because it sounded insane, little did they know that the omega he was referring to was just Mack.
