when entering into fall, my lips are always horrendously chapped. ew right? I've always just put vaseline on them, but that makes my lips appear white-ish yellow-ish, which isn't cute. Today I'll show you how to make a tinted moisturizer perfect for chappy fall lips.
you'll need vaseline/aquaphor/neosporin (vaseline works best), three jello shot cups and one lid, as well as something for tinting the petroleum jelly (I like crystal light, mio by gatorade, and select VERY SMALL amounts of pink food coloring)
in the first jello shot cup, put a good amount of your clear, petroleum jelly. Amount isn't important, because you can always throw the lid on the cup if you make too much and save it for later.
Next, in your next jello shot cup, take the TINIEST amount of water and mix it with your choice tinter (if using a liquid based tinter i.e. mio by gatorade, just pour a bit of it into a cup).
next, take the tint from your second cup and pour a few drops into your first cup.
mix and add color at your own choice.
once satisfied with your color, put your moisturizer into the container of your choice. I put mine in an extra contact case I found lying around, that way, when I make a new color, I can put it in the other side.
