Priscilla Sutton
I did some research into and lady called Priscilla Sutton who's work I really admire. She has taken a subject which is seen as very serious and somber and made it more light hearted. Sutton take prosthesis limbs and made then humorous or more interesting to look at. Here is her ‘walk this way’ piece.
The piece of her work that I find really interesting however is her piece in the foreground of the photo above. I feel that the simple design of the prosthesis limb but something that is slight interest to look at is something that I want to get into my design. Something that is simple but engages people.

Federico Carbajal
The next artist/designer I researched was Federico Carbajal. He uses metal to copy the structure of the human form. I feel the it is an interesting representation of different parts of the human body.
I like the repetition of the same material throughout the whole of his work. Carbajal’s work is sculpture which I do not normal work in sculpture. However, question of what could my project end up being started running through my head. It has also made me question whether some of my past pieces of design could become sculpture. I feel the Carbajal’s work opened my mind to what my work could become.
