He also does enjoy gushing about Phantom Thief business - he loves the excitement of sharing a secret with his friend, he loves going on adventures but probably what he loves most of all is actually being able to make a difference and actually feeling as though the Phantom Thieves really are stopping criminals and doing good for the world.  Whether or not the Phantom Thieves are truly ‘good’ is a matter of perspective and admittedly, Ryuji’s vision of them is probably much more idealized.

A slightly pale looking boy with a distinctive yellow scarf around his neck. Although somewhat strange looking and has a tendency to act odd and enigmatic at times, you can’t help but find him endearing and you find that there is a distinct warmth in you, every time you look at him. He usually sports a cheerful smile on his face, although you can’t help but sense that there is a slight edge of sadness to the smile.  Perhaps, if you were a more affectionate person, you might give him a hug - although the uncomfortable feeling in your gut makes you very much want to just embrace him and comfort him on the spot.

This sounds really cliche probably but it’s something I try to keep in mind.  Sometimes your partners can be just as shy about approaching you as you are about approaching them.  What I find that helps is actively reaching out to your partners, letting them know you’re interested - like their starter calls, or maybe post one of your own to gauge interest, or maybe post something like a promo or a shipping call - some people might be too shy to send you something but if they see a starter call, they might be more inclined to approach you and I think taking that first step really helps.
