But to briefly summarize the idea, I like to imagine that all and any species that doesn't live in the Dark Lands under Bowser's reign is actually quite peaceful and pretty friendly! Having free will and no pressure to fight for a frightful King would show immediately in their much mellower and meeker temperament. Even some Boos are completely benign in my version, though they're admittedly rare. Most of them are either annoyingly mischievous, deceptive or downright malevolent (as seen in canon). xP 🫣👻

Boos are indeed very cute! I've always found them quite amusing and fun to go up against in any level or mission! :3 As much as idle obstacles as direct adversaries, they can be both endearing and somewhat threatening, which always offers a good balance. 👻💙 As for me, I'd say my favorite Mario enemies would probably have to be the Bob-ombs! I just love these little guys. ☺️ Dangerous? Yes. Potentially life-threatening? Also yes. But they're so goshdarn adorable at the same time, I can never stay mad at any of them despite them being literal weapons used against me. Come to think of it, they remind me a lot of the Turrets from Portal! 💕 If you know, you'll know. 😄
