Otakon is an annual three day anime convention held during July/August at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland's Inner Harbor district. The convention focuses on East Asian popular culture and its fandom.

About six years ago we took on a little capital project known as Center Plaza. We added lighting, seating, fountains, and grass. Now we have the perfect oasis at the corner of Charles & Fayette streets to host happy hours. Pints in the Park returns to Center Plaza this Friday, Aug. 8, 5-8pm. Stop by for $2 beers and wine from Brewer's Art and Linganore Winecellars, the Doughy Dog food truck, a free concert by Nelly's Echo, and more.

AVAM's 2014 season of Flicks From The Hill kicks off with our Flicks Premiere Party!
