Tutorial for gingergodswag on how to get this blurry effect.
For this tutorial I will be using Juan Mata pictures.Â
First off you wanna open up the pictures you will be using and set the image sizes to Width:250 Height:(can be set whatever you decide, mines are 150).
Next you will click on Layer > Duplicate Layer:
Then you should have something like this:
Now you will it at background copy and now you will click on Filter > Motion Blur:
Something like this will pop-up and I usually set the Distance to 20 pixels like below but you can always change it to your liking then click OK.
Now your picture should look something like this (it all depends on what you set the motion blur to) then I set the Opacity to 45% (can be to your liking) just like below:
Now I click back on the Original Picture like below:
& then I usually sharpen my picture (totally optional) Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen:
:
Once you are done you can add a PSD of your liking in this case I used one of mines and then you click Layers > Flatten Image:
& you repeat the same process to all the pictures you will be using for your edit.
Once you are finish will all your pictures click File > New:
This should pop-up and set your Width to 500 and your Height will depend on how many pictures you are working with like this edit was set to 600, but in this case I am only using (4) pictures so I will be setting it to 300:
You will have a new transparent file and you will go to your tools box and click on this icon below:Â
& now you will drag your picture and place it wherever it is you would like sort of like below:
Then do the same to the rest of the pictures until you are finished.
Once that is done you can add Textures (optional) then go to Layer > Flatten Image.
Now you just have to save it (I usually save it to the .png format) and you are Finished.
This is what the Final product should look like:
I hope this tutorial was helpful as I am not that great at explaining. If you have any questions regarding this post don't hesitate to send me a message and I will try my best to help you.
