Some more BLUE-niverse doodles

It's amazing how much I've improved drawing steven these past months going back to see how awful my early posts are is quite embarrassing!

Heres also a extra other BLUE-niverse art but warning it contains giant spoilers for season 3 if you haven't catched up you're in for a shock

I drew this little scene from Chapter 2 with Bloop and Rose being awkwardness incarnate almost a year ago (in April 2020). As you can see, I’m much better at writing than at drawing.

So you know how in Familiar PD had this secret room where she kept all the good stuff? I was thinking for Blue that private area was actually her pool.

Oh, where do I begin???

Well, there’s Blueswap, where Steven is Blue Diamond’s son instead of Rose. There’s a fanfic and blog about it @blueswapuniverse.

Similarly, there’s Steven Diamond, where Steven is Yellow Diamond’s son and raised on Homeworld. There’s a comic run by @baixinha-su but I don’t know the status of it.

Momswap is an AU where Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot are the Crystal Gems, and Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are the Homeworld Gems. Some versions also switch Connie and Steven.

There’s also one where Opal and Garnet switch places but I forgot what that’s called. Basically Opal takes the role of Garnet, Sapphire is in Pearl’s position, and Ruby is the “Amethyst” of the group.

I also vaguely remember someone’s fanart where they switched Topaz, Aquamarine, and Zircon with Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot respectively but I dunno if there’s anything else about it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the fandom due to the haitus. There may be some smaller AUs I didn’t mention but those are the main ones I can think of.

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Blue Diamond being Steven’s mother. Sorry I lowkey put a small headcannon of Blue Pearl phasing out of “My Diamond” with “My Steven” sorry >3>
