Most of the things she does aren’t smart.
It doesn’t help that Adora doesn’t really understand what breaking and entering means. Forbidden places typically had very obvious signs. Very obvious. Curses, really big locks, languages she couldn’t read, but this window opens easily, even with her strength. It slides up, and there’s enough room to allow her to slip in.
Is it occupied? Maybe. It looks... like... a bakery? a creamery? She doesn’t remember the differences between those two words. But it smells good inside, and to her credit she’s stealthy until her hip sorta bumps into a display rack, betraying her presence with all the noise and clashing and bumping. She pauses, waits, and forgets her possible discovery because
oh. Food. Okay. Can’t blame her. It’s hard to think in the combination of hunger, and something smelling good, the former amplified by an overuse of magic the hour before. She gets just a little mindless, figures she’ll pay whoever this is back twenty fold after--
Oh okay no her thought process is gone now. There’s something in her hands as she reaches through display cases, careful to not break anything, it’s sweet and leaves some glazy residue on her fingers as she eats it. Bent over, definitely now actually making noise, she is definitely eating what totally doesn’t belong to her. Probably buns, probably pastries, she can’t help it. Too focused to realize if she’s discovered. Replenishing energy and magic takes center stage, now.
