The Power of Madonna
--- It was a slow day at the Institute, as it tended to be on the weekends, and Trinity was just one of the students in the common room, idly fingering through a book, glancing up to look around at the others for a moment. He sat in a plush chair nestled into a corner by a window and to his left was Jean on a love seat, talking with Jubilee, who sat next to her. Mismatched eyes looked to the center of the room, where Peter was leaning against a table, sitting on the floor, speedily writing out a crossword. White hair, streaked with black where his roots were coming through, shifted against his cheeks as his gaze landed on Kurt, lingering there a few moments. They had talked a few times, starting when Trinity had complimented him on his jacket, and he found the blue elf to be...rather charming, in his own way. He could easily make Trinity laugh the times they’d talked together, and, pushing his circular glasses up his nose, he stood up. It was a little quiet in here, and on his way towards the record player that was kept in the room (stocked with records from everyone from the Professor on down for use) he passed the couch Kurt was sitting on, the empath’s cheeks warming a little as he leaned against the back of the couch, his hands digging into the soft fabric. “Hey, Kurt!” Trinity smiled at him, the book he’d been reading left on the arm of the chair he’d sat in. His eyes went to the floor for a moment, praying that if Jean could hear how cute he thought Kurt was, she wouldn’t say anything. But they were back to Kurt in a split second. “I got a new record last night. You wanna listen to it? It’s Madonna.” he offered, another smile on his face. He figured it’d be fine --- everyone was crazy for her, despite how new she was! // @blue-fluff-elf
