omg??? yes!!! this is exactly what they would be doing, i love this so much i genuinely teared up, thank you thank you thank you for sending this to me!!

ahhhh it's so nice to be asked twice!! thank you thank you!! so, as i said to @lululawrence, idk that i can pick a top five, but i can pick five that are favorites!! for that one, i just started at the beginning of when i started writing and picked the first five i really loved (you can see what i said here). for this one, i'll just pick up where i left off!

Come All Ye - this one is absolutely ridiculous, and it entertains me a lot. my parents were actual hippies, and i was definitely a 90's/00's hippie, and i have spent a lot of time in the pagan crowd and the trad music scene both, so getting to write the boys as actual 70s hippies at glastonbury and harry as some sort of horny neo-pagan was very fun for me specifically. also, @allwaswell16 said it was hot, so there.

The Beautiful Game (Group Stage) - this is a WIP, which is lame of me, BUT i do think the first chapter stands on its own, fwiw. and i am working on the next chapter. i'm just slow. anyway, dialogue is not my normal wheelhouse, but frankly i think i ate here. it's funny AND hot, which is hard for me. if you like OT5 smut, go read it and tell me to post more of it.

the blue neverending sky - ohhhh i like this one. it was a lot longer in my head than it came out, but i think that's ok. i was *obsessed* with this song when it came out mumble mumble years ago, and it just felt so perfect for this little achey fic; the idea that something that is completely, objectively true must not be, because if it is, then that means someone you love is lying, so it's easier to disagree with reality. whoof. it is an open-ended/ambiguous ending, but i think you can absolutely headcanon a happy ending if you want to.

(on the edge until) you pull me in - ahhh we love a wankersday fic! lol for some reason this post is getting all the smutty fics i like best. i like louis in this a lot, not sure exactly why, but i really do. i am definitely planning on expanding this at some point, because it's a story that's very much in my head.

Remember Me As A Time Of Day - my beloved, my baby, my masterpiece. this one is right up there with my two Eroda fics in the list of fics that own my soul. i started plotting it out about six months after i started writing 1D fic, but i really wanted to give it the time and space it deserved, so i picked at it for like a year, and then i finished it up for the big bang this year. it's 70k, but honestly, i'd like to expand it. i think it could be better, but even so, i love it. i want to harass more people into reading it LOL but i know OT5 is not everyone's thing, sigh, and i respect that.

“Louis said… he said, ‘Wait till Zayn finds out. He’ll have some words for you,’ and at first I was just like, oh god, Zayn’s never going to speak to me again in my life.” Liam laughs again, a sound like ice breaking in the lake come spring. “And then I thought… would an alpha sit around and wait for someone to come to them? Would an alpha hide in their house, wondering what the person they love most in the world was thinking about this?” He shakes his head. “Next thing I knew, I was on a plane.”

Louis's in his nest when the text comes through, a simple link to the Daily Mail. He sighs deeply and closes his eyes. Daily Mail links never mean anything good, but if it's Oli sending it to him, it must be important. He opens his eyes and clicks the link.

One Direction was unusual as a band with two betas in with the expected omega popstars, but they achieved global stardom in spite of it, traveling the world as a five-part sensation until beta Zayn left and the rest of the band went on hiatus shortly after. Years later, they're all living their separate lives, pursuing separate careers to varying levels of success, until a headline breaks: One Direction had a secret alpha all along.

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Oh! I always try to put humor in things I write, but the most recent one that made me laugh was this scene from Everything is Blue:

Turning back to the door before Steve can say anything, he attempts to shove his key into the lock when there’s an ear-piercing squawk from inside, followed by a gruff groan from Wayne.  “What the hell was that?” Steve asks.   “Etta.” Eddie’s shimming the key into the stuck lock when he feels a clammy hand wrap around his bicep. Turning, he finds a pale-faced Steve looking at him with wide eyes.  “Eddie ,” Steve hisses. “Your uncle and this Etta lady are clearly going at it! You can’t go in there!”  There’s a brief moment of silence before he bursts into uncontrollable laughter. His body flails around on its own accord, wheezes coming between gasps for air. He’s pretty sure he looks like a damn fool, but he can’t help it. This is too fucking funny.  “Look, I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with your uncle, but it’s a totally fucked up one if you think this is hilarious instead of scaring!”  Righting himself, he glances down at Steve just as Etta lets out another squawk. The noise startles Steve again, and he looks somewhere between greatly disturbed and utterly embarrassed. And then he’s moving, turning on his heels to high tail it back to the car until Eddie stops him.  “Steve,” Eddie says between wheezes. “Etta is my uncle’s Macaw.”  “Oh.” A wave of crimson floods Steve’s face, drowning out the ghostly pale of a few moments ago. “Yeah, oh.” Eddie drops his hand from Steve’s and goes back to opening the door. It creaks open as Eddie turns to face Steve. “Though, if I may be totally straight with you, I’m a little concerned you think that’s what a woman sounds like in bed. What are you doing to these poor Hawkins girls, Stevie?”
