A lot of the bad writing isn't so much 'they would never do that' but more 'we arent shown their feelings about doing it so it seems out of left field'

I found Niño (autocorrect but keeping it) killing Matt to be unbelievable without giving some more emotional justification. I wish Ninomiya had said something at the trial about how like he didn't want to suffer the way he suffered when Yokoi stole his insulin because I imagine that kind of fear was his main motive. And then in ch5 we could have Ruka talking about how she got Matt killed

I do totally believe Shishikura would try to kill Tei under those circumstances but I imagine he would have a lot of feelings about it and I'd like to see those on screen at some point

I liked Tei's rambling, MAN the VA was delivering. My main criticism of Tei's VA has been his lack of range in everyday interactions - all of Tei's everyday interactions in the same wavering, sad, uncertain voice - but then when Tei gets mad or especially here the VA really shows their range. I wonder if the implication, with Tei using that uncertain voice all the time, was that Tei was already holding back the mental darkness

Kan was great in this chapter! He's such a fucking creep and I love it! Man poor Seki though, I'll miss him.

It’s that time of the year again (plus three weeks)!

This is the month where I celebrate and (hopefully) draw a lot of mecha! It started in May of 2011 to deal with going from no spare time at the end of a semester to 100% spare time.

I’m a lot busier than I was last year - so the goal for this year is at least one mech per week, posted on Mondays.
