she may be being a little dramatic,  but ... god, this sucks. ( besides, mj was dramatic on principal. ) why the hell was this a requirement to pass ?  and why the hell were they running a mile on such a humid day ?

first off,  ben is the type of person to know the most random mundane holidays like talk like a pirate day and international jazz day just because he feels like having something to celebrate makes any day more exciting,  so actual holidays related to reasons of faith rarely ever get by him.   while it’s not always within the parker’s means to do much in the way of celebration,  ben is adamant that they at least make sure they’re able to have a nice dinner together as a family   (  and said family has never been exclusive:   of course it entails may and peter,   but he’s never been one to turn away anyone else who wants to join them  ).   to ben though,   while the traditions and morals that come along with their holidays are obviously of importance,  the most important part to him is having everyone together —   even if that means their work schedules have them celebrating a week late.

When there is a break in the communication and his partner does something without asking him to and such. Doing stuff that he didn’t consent to or perhaps uncomfortable with, basically. COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT, KIDS.

Neck. Go for his neck. Kiss it, bite it, it feels Funny in the Best Way Possible
