Was looking at this game for the last few days, and then decided that I should buy it.

I wasn’t looking at any other game this much, so it does make a lot of sense.

It’ll take a while to arrive in hoary Germany, but it will be worth it, if only for the sake of it being a wonderfully designed piece of gaming.

Looking forward to it. Currently downloading the files belonging to the purchase, which is always a treat ever since I first found out about Bits and Mortar for a few Mörk Borg purchases I did (and some stores are not part of the network, still, so check your maps!).

I have also bought and installed a few new computer games, even some classics, like I Have No Mouth, and Bad Mojo.

And a thought about Pirateborg: why not turn Haddock’s “Captain Wolfe’s Journey to the Center of the Sea” into a solo session of Pirateborg? I might have bought this game because of this album, if memory serves.

Time for a beer and some pirate rock. Spent the last few weeks improving space, I think I will improve gaming space next.

It is summer, after all. And since all of us are sitting in rooms with heavy drapes blocking out the sun, I can finally enjoy one half of my fantasy of a dark summer.

I'm watching the Elmira Crokinole A bracket matches while I contemplate a statistic theat describes how "lossy" the final score of a sporting contest is. Think tennis, where a game can be close or not, then a set; we usually talk about matches ending in straight sets, but the final score has very little data onm how hard fought each point was. Such a statistic would be pretty difficult for a game like Crokinole, where the "closeness" of a round is so much more conceptual, or chess, where scoring positions is subjective outside Stockfish.

This is all keeping my mind off of what's going on: weird gestapo shit in the streets, getting laid off and the general feeling of trying to peel the charred splinters of my life out of the fuck off bonfire I've been making of it since Covid isolation, or even before, if I'm going to be honest. How bad is it? Don't worry about it, I maintain.
