-1 belongs to the Mandelbrot set, which is a set of complex numbers which satisfies the following condition:

Zn=(Zn-1)²+c does not diverge to infinity

Here, c could be any complex number. I'm on mobile and the formatting sucks so I'll demonstrate using -1 for good measure:

Z0=0

Z1=0²-1=-1

Z2=-1²-1=0

And so, it keeps oscillating between 0 and -1, i.e. it does not diverge to infinity.

Another fact- the resulting set of these numbers (the Mandelbrot set) is a fractal and has infinite complexity.

Nice explanation of the Mandelbrot set, but (since there is an infinite amount of complex numbers in that thing) i dont really think this counts as a fact about -1

So i was like "im just gonna find a fact for -1 myself" but is quickly remembered that -1 is really boring. i can't find any facts that aren't, like, an algibraic proof that -1*-1=1

so yeah, normal number tomorrow sorry!
