Okay first off if you're gonna carry a purse with you make sure it's a cross body purse that is small and keep it in front of you at all times. Get a lanyard and attach a thing of pepper spray on there if it's legal to carry where you are. Don't make eye contact with anyone, just in case. Try to stay in pretty well lit areas. If you can, they sell cheap pocket knives disguised as lipstick. If someone tries to mug you, just give them your things because your life is more important than anything.

also like I started looking up pocket knives on amazon bcause yeah and I found THIS and like im in love I love how there’s apparently a lot of super feminine self-defense devices?? i mean it makes sense but like its neat to see knives and shit marketed to make women feel badass instead of like vunerable for needing them (i guess)
