Calling all writers, dreamers, and purple-people eaters! Ok...maybe not that last part...

But definitely calling all writers! In honor of Pride Month, we are hosting a short story contest!

This contest will start today (June 7th) and end on June 27th. You can write about whatever you would like, HOWEVER, at least one (1) of the main characters must be LGBTQIA+, and the story must be originally yours. No reposting or submitting of other’s work.

1st place winner will receive a BQA Pride tee and a 25 VISA gift card

2nd place winner will receive a BQA Pride tee and 10 VISA gift card

3rd place runner up will receive a BQA Pride tee

Here are the rules and guidelines:

This is a short story contest….a SHORT story contest. While we appreciate all of your artistic talents, please limit each entry to about 1000-1500 word count or equivalent of one (1) page.

Stories must comply with Facebook Community Standards if the submitter wants them to be posted to the Facebook page

You may submit a maximum of 3 stories

In order for your story to be considered eligible for prizes and to be posted on our Facebook page it must not contain any of the following: NO triggering content (no rape or noncon), NO smut, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that is considered pedophilia.

As stated above, must be original stories with original characters and must be submitted by the original poster/writer. It has to be your own work. (NO plagiarism) At least one (1) main character must be LQBTQIA+
