While we know that the BJU Press has been funding BJU for years, WutBJU has received new information from BJU Press employees.

Here are the financial deets from their audit:

That is how their assets went kerflooey. They reported one (inflated) thing to the IRS while the bank reported the accurate thing. Five years later in an audit, the goof is caught and BJU's CFO goes to BJUEG while his own brother-in-law becomes the BJU's CFO.

Essentially, BJU's CFO didn't perform his most basic function -- reconciling what the bank said with what they recorded. And BJU's response is to play musical admins.

We're all used to the idea that BJU makes you agree to the Creed. Fine. Whatever. We get that.

And this nonsense has been in the employees' faces for years.

The Academy of Home Education is BJUEG's arm that "accredits" home-schools for the state in which they live. They do transcripts and record-keeping.

But the personnel has been so gutted -- because of the penny-pinching -- that they can't fulfill their customer's needs.

So. Shepherd's Care was under the BJUEG, that is, the Press.

So BJU's Audit for Fiscal Year Ending (FYE) May 31, 2023 tells the story.

Scroll to page 23 (epage 25). It states:

Management has determined that prior period financial statements contained errors that require correction to the net assets as of June 1, 2022.

So they discovered something that required "correction" for June 2022 (FYE 2023).

We've all been waiting. The BJU faculty had a meeting this morning and were told they would receive the pink slips by this afternoon (2/14/2025).
