I know I am, once again, incredibly late to the game. But I read through the entirety of Check Please yesterday, and my god, I have feelings. Mostly of the inarticulate screaming variety, so at least this shouldn’t be an incredibly long text post. But Oh man, guys. That was amazing. I love Ransom and Holster. Do they have fanfiction? They better have fanfiction. They must. Mostly though. Bittles. That ending kicked me in the gut. We didn’t get to see ANYTHING about how his parents reacted. And right after that (amazing) bit where he talks about feeling like a liar for telling his followers that you can find a place for yourself anywhere because, look at him. He plays *hockey*. But he’s not telling them about the pieces that aren’t so great still. That was my favorite scene in the whole comic. And then we got left with this cliffhanger? I was worrying about him in my sleep last night. I dreamed about Bittles. In conclusion, I love this comic.
