ALPHA TEAM FIRST RECON says LETS GO LESBIANS!!!
Hi guyyyyys I’ve been a busy bee due to my master degree program but that didn't stop me from recreating this photograph with my sweet Rita and Corporal Betsy (and the rest of the First recon squad. There isn't enough art of them, and I gotta lock in and contribute more!!!!)
After defeating the Legion at the second battle of Hoover dam, Rita and Betsy had a very wholesome reunion—-relieved that neither one of them died.
Yippeee I hope everyone had a great pride month <3
Honestly, if I wanted straight As I would have them, but I would rather have an intimate understanding of the material, rather than a typical understanding of what's on the test.
The latter is just demoralising to me.

Been getting some of that good horror injected directly into my veins through some awesome horror comics!
Producers will think of any and every reason to not tell Black stories even when they prove they can be successful again and again.
I'm legit afraid that they wont adapt Bitter Root now because stupid people will say it's too much like Sinners, even though the similarities end at "Black horror set in the 30s" (although to keep it a buck I don’t think they were going to adapt it anyway)
And I'm getting off track here but I'm also worried that the only woman in the film that will have a career boost from Sinners is Hailee. Hollywood is constantly hand wringing about the potential of Black actors and women suffer the most from this.
And to get even more off track I just have to say, I adore Sophie Thatcher, I think she's great, but I can't imagine a monoracial Black girl her age getting the same opportunities that she's gotten recently. She's already starring in movies, not as a side character, as the main character. Companion didn't even do that well at the box office but I'm sure that wont stop her from landing more roles and soon.
It shouldn't feel like a distant dream for Jayme Lawson, the only Black actress under 30 in Sinners to land a starring role in something. I'm really looking forward to The Running Man but I know to keep my expectations for her screentime low, and that makes me sad.
