Trying to figure out why the way I imagine Mario and Luigi as kids seems so familiar, then I realized:
Please tell me I didn't spend months fleshing out the backstory for these characters just for Mario to end up basically being a straight Italian version of Steve Harrington...
Come with us now on a journey through time and space... to the world of Stranger Things
Wonder if Millie Bobby Brown has ever seen thisπ€π€
The way i can't find this Stranger Things Day promo for s3 anywhere..

zero stars. was the build-up great? yes. i feel like everyone was given equal screentime, although some characters were underutilised than others. some didn't have to be there. but i guess they needed someone that didn't matter that much to the fandom to die, alongside someone that mattered to create that balance. though to be fair, i did already anticipate for the latter to kick the bucket because it fit the character's arc. from the moment we met the character, they had played the role of a weapon and it only made sense for them to have a poetic sacrificial end. do i have to like it? no. i would say it's a great season and ending. hey, they even found a way to give the characters we lost throughout the journey a nod. which is a great way to portray that these losses had shaped the characters into their better selves. and over all, i loved it for wrapping things up nicely. i just don't like that specific loss had to happen.
