[𝗠𝗮𝗰'𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 - 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗫𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜] Over the winter, my focus shifted from EXTREME WALKING to climbing. I've been mostly bouldering (i.e. climbing large rocks without ropes and falling onto large pieces of foam and into the arms of friends brave enough to stand beneath you), but the alpine peaks of the Sierra Nevada have been calling to me as I scramble up the pebbles in the Sierra foothills.⁣ ⁣ I've talked about it before, but it's been a lot of fun exploring some of my favorite places from a new perspective. Having the car (and @paulinadao) definitely makes things easier. I've been slowly breaking into the world of doing things with ropes and I'm excited to go back and rediscover more places from this angle (I'm certain there's some incredible stuff to be explored in New Zealand, Tasmania, and the Japanese Alps - not to mention Nepal).⁣ ⁣ With each new endeavor, I fear I'm growing ever closer to dying in a tragic accident in the mountains. But let's hope it doesn't come to that. There's still too much to be explored.⁣ ⁣ 📸: @paulinadao

Thank you Bishop for an amazing season 😄 I'm so grateful for the great times with wonderful friends. I already miss it's incredible varied rock, the adorable little town, the unreal scenery and mountains, the therapeutic hot springs, the burgers, and of course the awesome people. The heat is back so we’ve been dipping into the ice caves for better condies, sort of like the cave creatures in The Descent and those things are super strong climbers (coincidence?). It was an incredible six months traveling with this guy @bvellek . We experienced some incredible places and climbed some of the best rock in the United States. It seemed almost on the weekly people would ask if we’re brothers, which also happened many times long before the trip. Here he is capping things off with a send of Soul Slinger.
