Birdversary 2021 -> The Reunion Flight

Reminder that the event is taking place in about two weeks, from July 16th to July 18th.

It'll be the opportunity to celebrate the series and people from the fandom. There'll be content submissions, discord discussion prompts, voice-channel live-readings sessions, and even some Birdmen bingo!

Happy 4 Years of Serialization Birdmen!

In honor of a wonderful 4 years, I got the privilege of doing an artswap with @darkicedragon as a part of the Birdmen fandom’s Birdversary 2017.  Doing a project that not only celebrates the series, but also the lovely contributors that care about it is a great way to spread the love. May we continue let our inspiration soar alongside it for years to come.

TODAY'S THEME IS:

FLIGHT 

Discussion Prompt 

Did you ever want to fly? Where would you want to go? Who would like to fly with? Which flying scene appealed to you the most? Share your answer in the #birdmen_chat 

Birdmen Bingo 

Alongside the discussion prompts, push yourself to complete the challenges on the bingo board in the channel (posted below). Talk about your headcanons, make a birdmen oc, comment on a fic you find on ao3. This is a personal challenge and at the end of the celebration we'll share how many squares we filled (or how many bingos we got!). 

Live Reading Sessions 

The session will start at 9pm EST / 8 CST / 6 PST on the #general_chat, be on time to pick the role you want to do and have a say in the chapter. Livereads are when we all get onto voice chat and read through a chapter together, acting out assigned roles.

BIRDVERSARY DAY THREE: FREEDAY 

 And with this our Birdversary celebration comes to a close.

Join us for one last chatterbox on the Aviary, the birdmen discord! We'll be doing livereadings once again so drop in by 9pm EST / 8 CST / 6 PS on the #general_chat to claim a character or just to hang out!
