I don't like the idea that Anakin and Mace disliked each other, I actually think it's very important that when Obi-Wan wasn't there Anakin went to Windu first in ROTS. And that Windu took him seriously, and went to arrest Palpatine. I think it's telling that Windu seems to immediately realize how Palpatine has manipulated Anakin, and how he tells Anakin not to listen to him. When Anakin helps kill Windu, Anakin considers that his point of no return. There's a relationship there that was not at all built on contempt or malice, but Windu seems to worry more for Anakin than he ever did fear him.

People always assume in a perfect galaxy Luke would either gravitate towards Anakin growing up or maybe be a mama's boy to Padmé. Wrong. Luke would be crazy about Obi-Wan. He would constantly be asking to see Uncle Obi-Wan, bothering him about the Jedi, sitting next to him while he meditates. I think, like Obi-Wan, Luke was born to be the perfect Jedi and he finds solace in Obi-Wan. Luke has too much of his father in him, and that part naturally gravitates towards Obi-Wan.

I love watching the 12 minutes of High Noon Over Camelot available on youtube because it just accentuates how musically interesting this album is and I love it so much. Did you know there are parts where Tim isn't even playing on the fret of his guitar??? There's also a point where he is shaking his guitar around to get that atmospheric wawawawawawa noise. It's fuckin' incredible. Figuring out parts are synth because no one else visible is playing a specific melody and the synth is the only instrument not visible :( Also seeing Marius pluck the violin in guitar position, which is an actual thing that some people might not know !! Small things. GGgggoddd. I have cried over the fact that this is all we'll ever see of HNOC (yes actually. hyperfixations make me strange.), but god am I so happy that we got at least this. It makes me love it so much more
