"I'm telling you!" Dash waved his arms around excitedly as he told his friends about his encounter with the ghost boy the night before. "Whoa, that's so cool," his best friend Kwan, who was sitting across from him at the lunch table, exclaimed in awe. "What did you say his name was again?" Pauline asked excitedly, seated at the end of the table, painting her nails. "Danny Phantom," Dash replied.

Across the school cafeteria sat Danny, Sam, and Tucker. Danny's lunch tray was shoved to the side; in its place were his elbows holding his head as he tried to hide from the excitement ringing over the cafeteria. Sam poked the mysterious green blob on her tray with a fork in a failed attempt to identify its contents. "You're just going to have to get used to people talking about you if you're going to be a 'superhero'." Making air quotes around the word 'superhero'. "She's right Danny. Besides, it sounds like Pauline is interested." Tucker chimes in, mystery sauce on his face. Danny groans and puts his hands down. "She likes Danny Phantom, not Danny Fenton," He points out, letting out an exhausted sigh. "Besides, I couldn't drag Pauline into all this. It would just put her in danger." He sighed again, his hands lay gently on the table as he stared wistfully at Paulina, “I wouldn't wanna risk ruining her flawless skin”. Sam just rolled her eyes.
