I drew a pigeon named Baby! I was very inspired by Lucy Liang's recent vlog showing her work with rehabilitating pigeons so I had to make this. (tumblr wrecked the quality, im so sorry T_T)

i literally watched this ep at home and i was so hyped to learn that not only macaronis and rockhoppers can form pairs they can also breed and have offspring that is healthy and capable of breeding w other penguins to create even more funky hybrid babies which might develop into a whole new species

Sirius

The Harpy Eagle!! Mainly because it looks fucking ominous, giant and can carry away your child. A fucking menace to behold - just like him 😊 But so fucking cool!!

James

A Black Crowned Crane! A bird with a CROWN! (Because I'm German and in German Prongs was translated to Krone which means Crown so I will forever associate James with crowns). It is also definitely strutting about with those legs!

Remus

A Hamerkop!! Great prehistoric bird who is also VERY BROWN and unassuming! It also looks a bit akward which is important when choosing a Remus!

Peter

The Great Potoo! Good at hiding which is important if you frame someone for your own murder and also has very unsettling eyes which is something that Peter's birds always need to have! This bird clearly killed someone and is trying to look innocent!!

I always wanna give someone the shoebill in these but he is just his own character! The OC of my heart!!

I have so many ahhh!! my fav bird of prey is the Harpy Eagle/Ornate Hawk-Eagle, BUT my favorite bird of all time is the Pied Crow, and my favorite songbird is the Eurasian Golden Oriole!

The Butcher Bird is also so hardcore and I LOVE them.
