This past month in my sketchbook. Some of my favorite Texas natives. I am moving to Oregon before the month is out and I wanted to commemorate my favorite thing about my home state, the nature.

A couple of recent boletes 》 family Boletaceae. Second one might be of the genus Xerocomus, but i can't say for sure. Boletes always stump me, idk why.

False parasol 》 Chlorophyllum molybdites

Finally got to see the fairy rings at my parents house up close. Love how you can see the spores dusted on top of the other caps. This species has such a lovely spore color.
