#repost @mumismental ・・・ I've taken this evening 11 tablets! 11! That's just to keep me stable and ok, they help me get to sleep and help me get up again in the morning. To stabilise my mood, and stop the tremors those mood stabilisers create, etc. It's hard being stable, it means sleeping at a decent time, not drinking and eating well. Everything someone with bipolar doesn't want to do, they want to drink to excess, stay up late and sleep all day. I suppose we are teenagers that never grew up. Money? What's that, something to use to buy WHATEVER we want? Certainly not for boring bills. I would rather be the boring old pill taking fart than the irresponsible teenager thank you. Depression may occur at any time of the year, but the stress and anxiety during the Holidays may cause even those who are usually content to experience loneliness and a lack of fulfillment. . I climbed in next to my husband last night and had a real feeling of not belong but being so grateful at the same time. . Even when the depression makes me want to isolate myself. Anxiety has me hiding in my bedroom and OCD has me hiding my tooth brush to save myself from brushing 7 times a day. . You may not be mentally ill or know anyone that is but don’t let feelings of fatigue, stress, irritability, bloating, and sadness during the holiday keep you from feeling the happiness & high spirits. And yes I know everyone is saying keep Christ in Christmas 🎄 but what does that even mean? . It means being a representative of what it means to you - To have Christ,God,The universe,Jehovah in You. Giving the love they give you even in your imperfections🤷🏾‍♀️to me anyway smiling & Joy is a big part of that. .
