1. What is the worst they've ever been injured?
Ohhh hmm, well, they get injured a lot! I think it was probably that time they got ambushed by a bunch of people trying to kill Viago? When they told the story, they omitted a few key details, such as the fact that by the time they reached Teia's apartment to drop Viago off, they were already seriously injured. She gave them something so they wouldn't bleed out, but they wouldn't stay put. They went to go and kill the target of the contract, which was ANOTHER fight, this time involving magic. And then they returned to the apartment, and it was on fire, so they had to help Teia get Viago out, while still being attacked, and get to one of Teia's emergency hiding places. They got extremely lucky that Teia was there and that they didn't pass out from shock or blood loss at any point. The recovery took four weeks, but at least Viago was stuck recovering, too, so they could annoy him!
5. What event brought them to their lowest, mentally? How did they act during this time?
Um, it's either being exiled from Treviso before the game, or Tearstone Island? They handled the exile MUCH worse, though, mostly just because they actually had time to be upset about it and didn't really have anything to do. Losing Harding and finding out that Varric was dead AND not knowing where Bel was/if she was alive was just kind of... too much to process, when they had things to do. So they spent like an hour disassociating and then moved on. Still had Elgar'nan to kill! (They're GOING to process it in their fic, I'm MAKING them)
While, in terms of what actually happened, getting kicked out of Treviso should have been less traumatizing, the fact that it came with Viago's censure was devastating to them. He's definitely been angry and exasperated with them before, but not like that.
He kind of stripped them of their identity, in a way. Not really on purpose-- and, of course, the action was protective, even if Viago was harsh about it-- but Leth didn't emotionally process it that way. To them, it was only a punishment. And he took away everything they valued as meaningful in a single day.
They were really... kind of unpleasant to be around, for a while. They were angry and easily irritated and just like... fucking rude lol. Luckily, Varric is used to that, and he's very patient. He eventually got them to open up and relax, but it took some doing. I can't imagine that Harding liked them very much at first.
