I’m really not sure I understand what the writing team were trying to do here. I think they were trying to push the Drama Level over 9,000 with all this. But what they actually achieved was alienating and creepy :(

The funny thing is, the game could have done better than what we got. I’m thinking something along the lines of the Landsmeet from DA:O - get the evidence together, find plausible alternative candidates, convince them to stand, get the Nexus to elect someone *useful* in place of the current directors. It could have made for an interesting and different sub-plot ... but instead we got this cod-authoritarian muddle. Sigh :(
