He’s thinking. Melancholic about what once was, scared about what will be. And the mere thought of more chaos doesn’t bring any peace for his slumber. “I can’t sleep.” He steps slowly, from one side to another, floating at the edge of the building, watching her with a slightly joyful glimmer onto dark eyes. “What about you ?”

Oh, it seems like Alita got used to scare the crap out of him. Tijasar jumped slightly, turning back from his bookshelf to gaze at his opened door. There he found Alita, standing with the same look she had hundreds of year ago. Then, it hit him--- She remembered.

It’s been three hundred years of solitude, up until this moment. He always tried to keep his hopes up, that he wasn’t the only survivor from The Fall. But with every day, said hope seemed to fade. And the fact that Nine was the one to show up, when he was thinking of committing to his ultimate fate, it brought warmth to a cold, lonesome heart.

“I...” Lost. “I think that’s not very new.” A sad smile.
