At this point, the most well-known Commander Keen appearance is probably as a hung body in a secret level of Doom II: Hell on Earth.

...Or, more accurately, multiple hung bodies, which invalidates this appearance for this blog's purposes. So unless there's something more to the Bio Menace cameo, there's actually no way to link Commander Keen to Ryu.

Unless you're willing to assert that the poor fella whose has a Doom-styled Commander Keen helmet on his head in the 2016 DOOM game, which is a bit far of a stretch for my liking, even if the Doom Slayer is the Commander's descendant.

And no, the Commander Keen skin in DOOM Eternal isn't him, it's pretty clearly the Doom Slayer in Keen garb.
