And thus, Bill returned to wreak havoc in Gravity Falls. I headcanon that the first thing he does (besides experimenting with all of Steven’s powers) is buys shades so that no one can see his eyes. Then, he’d spend the majority of his day “working” outside, and pass off the shades as just wanting to look cool. Dipper would catch onto “Steven’s” weird behavior and figure it out pretty quick, but how can he prove it without knocking the glasses off his face?
If anyone wants to continue this, go ahead. And also, yes: that weird pillow Steven has is his beanie that a lot of people have been drawing him with. That’s Clue #1 that Steven isn’t himself is the fact he’s not wearing it.
