Plagg and Tikki dress up as each other and then switch holders. Before they can explain the joke after a failed transformation Adrien and Marinette panic thinking they can't transform and go full BikerBug and BananaNoir for the akuma. Now they're both convinced that neither of them can transform, and now Plagg and Tikki are too afraid to admit their prank.

So, you’re telling me that Marinette wearing a biker suit in Feast was foreshadowing THIS.

EDIT: After some rational thought, I realised that this could be her Lucky Charm lol. But getting a motorbike as her lucky charm is a bit impractical. I’m hoping I’m wrong. I’d love to see LB on a bike. Don’t ask why. I’d just LOVE it.

Marinette needing to dress as Bikerbug cause she couldn’t use her miraculous and Adrien being there needing protecting. Marinette being her strong self no super hero enhancements putting herself on the line to save him. ICONIC

Or Marinette has to wear that getup because she needed to and clearly not thinking much of it and Adrien being like “hold up, that’s Ladybug 🥺” so he is trying to get to her and strike a convo but is being around the bush because 1. she can’t know he knew that was LB’s old disguise and 2. there might be a shadow of a doubt it’s her to begin with. 

And of reveal possibility of Marinette taking that helmet off and Adrien is just like 😧
