I've had thoughts about snake Felix while drawing #You know how Aspik's problem was caring too much and trying to rescue people every time and suffering when he couldn't #how Viperion is attentive and patient and knows when to step aside to watch and make conclusions and then guide his teammates #patience and analysis applies to Felix too #but. I thought about taking risksssss during loops #I thought about fights where Felix pushes his teammates under fire on purpose to see what happens #loops when everyone in team is convinced he betrayed them #loops when he isn't bothered too much about harming people #(after all do people really care about harming those like him?)#but all that allows him to quickly find a solution #I feel like Ladybug would surely dislike him. this is certainly pre-s5 Felix to me. spitting poison #but he does his job perfectly and Ladybug doesn't want to admit that he's... probably a better fit than Aspik #while Luka tries to deal with the dissonance #It's Aspik's voice but different song. it's Aspik's eyes but different color. It's Aspik's lips but different smile #this is still about lukadrien angst. but i got very distracted with the cobra boy #what if he took this opportunity to learn everyone's identities on purpose

Since Luka is retired permanently before Felix uses his miraculous, what happens if Adrien needs to use the miraculous and he meets Aspik or Snake Noir?

Aspik and Snake Noir aren't going to show up either, though. Multimouse is really the only "alt transformation" given any focus and that's because her little supplementary comic is already out. She won't show up again, nor will we do anything with Ladybee or Ladydragon. Rena Furtive might exist in the background for a comic maybe but the episode where she becomes Rena will never be put in comic form. Glaciator will at best be reduced to a single referential line. No Penalteam, no Befana, no Bakerix. We're trying to be concise with the comics since they take a shit ton of time and we don't want to be working on this in our 30s still; Therefore most of the shit in the show that has has 10 years of runtime will not make the cut.

For a show that hinges upon its audiences’ adoration for identity porn, there is far too much unexplored potential for secret identity shenanigans for my liking. I want to see more Multimouse and Chat Noir. But I also want to see Multimouse and Adrien. Multimouse and Aspik. Multimouse and Cat Walker. Marinette and Aspik. Marinette and Cat Walker.

I know the fandom loves to hate on Aspik but I think it would be so fun to see him and Multimouse interact. JUST IMAGINE IT okay? BOTH of them are gonna be awkward AF and internally spiraling bc they have to pretend to not know the others identity AND act like they’re not absolutely head over heels for them. They literally both know the others identity but have to pretend they don’t in order to hide their OTHER secret identity like HDBDBDJDNDJCHHC

And like, imagine Cat Walker working with Multimouse? And like he can tell that Marinette kind of has a thing for Cat Walker and he doesn’t quite know how to feel about that until Plagg points out that it’s the third version of him she’s fallen for and he suddenly feels very okay with it

Or Multimouse sees Adrien and she reverts back to nervous-clumsy-stumbles over her words Marinette because she’s overthinking the whole secret identity thing but Adrien KNOWS she’s Marinette so he totally clocks that behavior and thinks it’s the cutest thing ever but also he acts completely oblivious and does everything he can to help her calm down and act natural

And then Marinette and Aspik? Similar vibe except maybe Adrien’s trying a little too hard to look cool in front of Marinette which gets her to laugh because she KNOWS he’s trying to impress her and it helps her to calm down and stop overthinking the fact that she has to pretend not to know who he is, and he loves that she’s laughing, but that’s not really what he’s going for so he ends up using second chance to redo the moment over and over & he can’t figure out what he’s doing wrong or what Marinette thinks is so funny
