It's kinda weird seeing old pictures of myself before recovery. I miss being thinner but I also don't miss starving myself and throwing up what little I did eat. I might be a bigger titty goth queen now, but at least there is life in my eyes and I am not suicidal and shit. Older photo was 4 years ago at one of the lowest points in my life. I had been sexually assaulted a year or two before then that sent me in one of the worst relapses of my life. The picture was taken on Seattle, where I had been planning to take my life. I am happy I didn't. That year ended up being one of the best in my life. I am happy I held on and I will continue to stay in recovery, regardless of society obsessed with diet culture and shirking themselves. I know where that shit leads me.
