Ah yes. Of course! Because I, a queer person, saying queer isn’t a slur truly is the epitome of being problematic!
Queer is also the academic term that I have used in essays before and I will continue to use in essays. I will also continue to use it in my daily life! I am queer! I’ve identified as queer since I was 13! I’m now almost 20 and guess what? I’m still extremely fucking queer!
I don’t consider queer a slur and I never will. I won’t apologise for that. I am proud of who I am and what I identify as. A random stranger who is too cowardly to even come off of anon won’t change that. What are you getting out of this? Like, what do you think these messages are going to achieve? Honestly.
