i remember when i realized i had a crush on deku.
i mean, i had been into him for years, years, and just had no idea because i just took every emotion and forcibly converted it into anger because it was easier to deal with.
it was at U.A when i actually let myself acknowledge emotions. it was a mixture of a couple of things. firstly, i was making friends with kirishima and kaminari, and i hadn’t had, well, actual friends, since i was little. hanging out with them made me realize it was okay to feel stuff, it was okay to have fun, stuff like that.
but when it came to deku, it was still really confusing. i told myself i hated him. i told myself he was holding me back from becoming stronger. but then, why did i get so mad at him when he got hurt? why was i so angry when he and ochako hugged?
eventually it kind of clicked and honestly that just made me more confused. but i told denki and eijirou. naturally, there was plenty of teasing, and plenty of death threats from me. then they fucking. aarhgghghh. they tried to make me fucking confess???? fucking ASSHOLES.
i literally went up to deku, red in the face, K squad snickering behind me. like a bad middle school shoujo anime. and i couldn't do it. and i just yelled something along the lines of “I FUCKING HATE YOU STUPID DEKU PEICE OF SHIT NERD” and ran away.
fuck you guys, I'm still mad about this
