i... am almost angry with atem. almost. and its for such a selfish reason that i'm not even gonna talk about it with my ygo kin friends. i feel horrible about the whole thing overall.

he left me. i know he didn't belong in the world anymore, i know i didn't need his guidance anymore, i know he did what he came to do. but i. still need him in a way. i was, and still am, so so willing to make room in my life for him. he's my other half and i feel almost empty without him. i hate the emptiness in my head without him there. he even came back to save me in DSOD, and then he left me AGAIN. i should have said something then but i didn't realize he wasn't here to stay until he left. i've just been pretending i'm at peace with it and that i'm content loving him from afar. and i really, really wish i was.

it's so grossly self absorbed to feel like this but i do. if you're reading this somewhere, partner, i love you. you don't have to come back obviously, i don't want you to feel bad! but i would welcome you back in an instant. you don't even have to stay. i just miss you.
