BOS Package contract at Anantapur links EPC with long CAMC
BOS Package contract design in BHEL’s Anantapur 1200MW solar tender shows a shift from simple EPC execution toward long-duration accountability. The tender, MANPBT0037 / NIT_100424, was published on 9 June 2026, with submission due on 19 June 2026. BOS Package contract evaluation will be block-wise on INR/MW L1 basis across 450MW, 450MW and 300MW blocks, with no reverse auction. EnergylineIndia.com highlights this update for readers tracking Solar EPC News and Renewable energy tenders. The package excludes PV modules and tracker systems but makes the BOS contractor responsible for civil works, electrical systems, SCADA, metering, earthing, illumination, weather monitoring, CCTV, fire systems, cleaning systems and commissioning support. Commissioning is required within 14 months from PO or LOA, with facility completion within 15 months. BOS Package contract obligations continue beyond commissioning through three years of O&M cum CAMC and seven years of CAMC for critical equipment. The no-JV rule, Rs 3 crore EMD and high turnover thresholds create stiff entry barriers. BOS Package contract bidders must also price non-contiguous land, firm prices, generation guarantees and grid-compliance support. BOS Package contract procurement at Anantapur could become a template for mega-scale solar BOS contracting.
