So, whilst not a bard, Lily can sing, because all elves can. It is, after all, called The Elfsong, is it not ? (I don’t make the rules)

Not to get overly precious, Lily is just a Disney princess with a sword, and all the modern Disney princesses fall solidly in the mezzo soprano/contralto range..

So really, I’m spoiled for choice…

In my imagination, Lily’s not much of a belter, so Sara Bareielles, probably.

Let’s see…how about

First off, sorry for the immensely late reply. I made some progress on my comic and figured this might fit your ask.

Raven is still a demigod, so I don’t think his body works in a normal way, especially when it comes to battle. But pain is constant and headaches in particular. I also imagine his vision sometimes gets heavy and unfocused, like everything is just slightly wrong and too much to look at. Canon Durge is constantly like, Ugh, gods, my head.

In terms of daily functioning, I think his minimal talking says a lot. He’d probably joke and laugh more if he wasn’t so busy holding himself together and looking out for the group.

Raven has been very aloof and hard to read up to now, so it’s about time the story shows he’s not actually untouchable. You can already get a glimpse of that in this preview of the next part.

In Part 3 of the Leash the spawn nightmare ends, he wakes up with black eyes and a body already reacting, and for the first time, the aftermath doesn’t stay internal. The pain is visible. And even he can’t pretend he has a grip on it anymore.

Now this may seem obvious seeing as he’s a vampire, but I don’t mean icy cold. No, not the cold that if you touch it for too long it starts to burn. Not even unpleasantly cold. But chilled. Like the cool side of your pillow you’re always trying to flip to, the cool your feet keep searching your bed sheets for, and the cool night air that hits your face when you’re drunk.

You’re traveling in the hottest season, hiking miles with heavy gear no less. When it’s time to set up camp everyone looks like a sweaty, frizzled mess. Besides Astarion, of course. Backpacks thump to the ground from weary muscles and messy hair. Meanwhile, Astarion is halfway through setting up his tent, checking his nails in a most satisfied manner. Everyone is too tired to care about his silent flex of comfortability, so he becomes vocal.

Astarion watches you struggle with a collected grin, “Looking a bit hot, need someone to cool you off?”
