Besides baby led weaning. I've tried that and I've had no success with it at all One year was my goal and I'm very happy I hit it but Levi is over 13 months now and I feel like these last few months he's been nursing MORE than normal and isn't as interested in food/meals at all just snacks. I try incorporating meals, I make them for him, get him something when we go out, but he shows more interest in like little snacks he can hold. It's hard to get him to get on a consistent meal schedule he just won't have it sometime and I can't just force food down his throat. He does eat all kinds of solid foods of course and he's an awesome eater when he does eat he's just never in the mood for food. So basically, he is nursing more because he is making up for the calories he's not getting from the food he isn't eating and his little body is growing fast and my boobs are just sufferingggggg The biggest issue is that he mainly only nurses when he wants to go to sleep, and he sleeps in our bed with us (which I love and enjoy!) but lately he just nurses forever and it gets extremely irritating for my nipples and having to lay in the same position for him has been cramping my back up I'm just at the point where I get bad anxiety at night when I breastfeed and start feeling very trapped/panicky. I used to absolutely love it but I am ready to be done! The problem is if I even try to keep my boob from him when he wants milk and to go to sleep when we're laying down he will throw the BIGGEST fit and just that little 3 second glimpse of the tantrum he is capable of scares me because, oh man, he can throw some crazy tantrums! So how the heck do I even go about this lol 😭
