𝔾𝕆ℕ 𝔽ℝ𝔼𝔼ℂ𝕊 First of all, you would have to be really good friends with Gon for him to fall in love with you. In my mind, he’s 100% a demisexual— he wouldn’t just fall in love with just anybody or someone he just knows casually. He doesn’t really do love at first sight or be interested in someone just because you are attractive. Personality matters more to him and you would need to be Killua level close to him or something. Moving on from that, Gon isn’t the type of person to be loud or fall in love dramatically— it’s slow and it’s a slow realization of “Your my close friend” to “I want to spend my life with you.” Wherever he goes, mountains, rivers, towns— it wouldn’t feel as exciting to explore without you. You’re his person, his go to friend and lover. It reminds me of this lyric from the song called ‘Anyone Else But You’ by The Moldy Peaches. “You’re a part time lover, and a full time friend” would perfectly describe your dynamic with him. He wouldn’t go yelling out “I LOVE YOU!” (though he would if you asked him to) but he isn’t quiet about your relationship either. He’s proud about it and if anyone asks? He’ll answer honestly, no shame. He knows that you love him and that he loves you. That’s all that matters. You wouldn’t notice it since he's so slick with it (with good intentions ofc) but he becomes very present in your life. He likes spending every moment with you— whether it be silly stuff like exploring a forest and him showing you weird insects or more romantic stuff like holding hands while stargazing. Heck even just bed rotting for a while with you is something he would enjoy. This boy is very clingy— but don’t get it wrong! He’s not insecure in the slightest about your relationship with him, he’s actually very trusting and your relationship with him is very secure. If you guys aren't together for a period of time for some reason, he wouldn’t be concerned. Not because he doesn’t care but because he knows you’ll be back and he’ll be there to support you every time. He will always be there for you, just like how you’ll always be there for him. When he loves, it’s not the bare minimum or half assed. He gives you his full commitment because he truly loves you. Overall this boy is just the sweetest <3 _____

𝕂𝕀𝕃𝕃𝕌𝔸 ℤ𝕆𝕃𝔻𝕐ℂ𝕂 Lemme establish that this boy does not fall in love easily. It’s very hard to make him fall for you— he can get attracted by looks, yes. But it’s hard for him to actually love someone, like Gon— you would need to have a Gon level type of relationship with him or similar. He can be very guarded and aware of their intentions from the get-go so he can be cautious at first, and even plain mean at times. The only canon exception to this is his friendship with Gon, Leorio and Kurapika but other than that.. I don’t think theres any other exceptions (correct me if I’m wrong please) I 100% believe he’s a tsundere, not full on but you can tell he’s one. If he feels butterflies in his stomach because of you? He’ll deny it. Killua would deny his feelings for you until he can’t anymore and suddenly he realizes “I’m actually in love with this person.. They’re not just a friend to me..” Once he fully accepts that he loves you though? He loves hard. At first, he might be quiet about your relationship with him, most of your guys friends wouldn't even know about it. But don’t get it all mixed up! He’s very proud to be yours <3 He would also be extremely loyal. You’re his ride-or-die, he would become very protective of you too— Not because he doesn’t think your strong enough to handle yourself. It’s because he loves you and wants to make sure your safe. His version of love is choosing you time and time again. He’s quiet, sometimes he doesn’t know what to say and get’s flustered and embarrassed easily. But when he does say what he feels? He’s blunt in a way that makes YOU flustered. It’s honestly very endearing and everything he does makes your heart flutter. In public, he would be clingy in a subtle way; like intertwining your pinky fingers together, tugging on your shirt or leaning on your shoulder— all the cute subtle stuff. But in private? He’s a whole ‘nother level of clingy. He would be near you 24/7. I am a firm believer that he is a little spoon, he loves the feeling of your touch— he feels so secure and safe with you. He’s an occasional big spoon too! Killua is just a sweetie and he loves you dearly <3 _____

𝕂𝕌ℝ𝔸ℙ𝕀𝕂𝔸 𝕂𝕌ℝ𝕋𝔸 The Kurta would also find it hard to love, harder than some of the others in this list actually. After being the only Kurta to survive the massacre, he felt that he didn’t deserve to have the comfort and love that his clan didn’t get to experience now. He embodies the grief and rage of his fallen clan. Time is also a big factor; being a bodyguard, a zodiac, the head of the Nostrades, while carrying out what your clan would be so emotionally exhausting and time consuming. He wouldn’t have time to love anyone. Or so he thought… After all, love is unpredictable! I’m sure that Kurapika only falls in love after he realizes you’re his safe space. The person he could turn to if things get too hard— and when he realizes that he loves you? He’s wrecked. At first, he might suddenly become distantly polite or keeps you at arms length after realizing this. But.. It isn’t because he hates you— it’s because he cares too much. He struggles to grasp that he’s actually in love and with you. He forgets what it means to be angry, his life long purpose and the grief that he experienced. He feels safe, loved and cared for when he’s with you <3 But he’s terrified, his position could put you in danger and it could be tragic for you both in the long run. He genuinely believes he’s protecting you by not letting you near him.

When he accepts it though.. He’s intense about it in this quiet way that makes you fall in love with him even more. He’s a gentleman and brings you to fancy dinner dates when he has time. He always makes sure to treat you like the princess you are— opening doors, pulling out the seat and making you feel loved. Kurapika just loves to take care of you! He always knows when you’re stressed or feeling bad based on your body language, he basically reads you like a book and he always makes sure to help you feel better. He may not be good at comforting people but he makes up for it by showing up in subtle ways like cooking up something simple that makes you remember home, he stays awake until you fall asleep in his arms and his arms definitely feel like a mother holding you, no buts! He only does this when he’s home and not his usual super tired self that drops to the bed instantly when he gets home— he feels like this very often so so he feels bad he can’t treat you as if you were a princess all the time. In fact you’re probably the one who’s caring for him than him caring for you! Theres nothing wrong with that though— It makes him feel cared and loved for. But.. the guilt eats at him still.. He makes up for this by giving you lots of nice gifts. His gifts are expensive (after all this man is RICH RICH) and thoughtful! It could be something you’ve talked about once and the next thing you know, it would be right in your hands! Kurapika wants to spend every moment he can with you and treat you well. When he dies, he’d rather die prepared and able to say “I hope you find someone good after me.” than “I wish I spent more time with you.” After all— he’s prepared for the consequences of the destructive path he’s chosen. _____

You and Kai were born and raised in the same village. His parents "leaving" him and his sister at a very young age was a devastating event that led to the village elders having responsibility over the two of them. That included your parents.

Since your parents were always having come over to check on the two siblings you had started coming with them.

You quickly learned that the boy had a way too big ego for someone his age. Loud, reckless and annoying. Those were the words you thought of when looking at him.

This was until something shifted after having to see him practically everyday. You were minding your own business, picking flowers or straying off the walking path instead of going home after school. (Wich was totally not because you dreaded that someone specific was probaly over at your house.) When some of your classmates ,who had nothing better to do apparently, cornered you against a tree.

You always knew not to take silly insults from others seriously, ofcourse you did. That's something your parents had always told you, something you've grown used to due to the fact you were always bickering with a certain spiky haired brunette. But something about being pathetically outnumbered made you freeze, unable to say something smart back, just having to take in the harsh words.

When the exact reason you didn't go straight home appeared. Kai grabbed your wrist and pushed the kids who had cornered harshly away. Some even falling to the ground. But he didn't care.

He just ran. With your wrist clutched tightly in his hand. Neither of you knew why you were running at all, it's not like anyone ran after you, but you just did.

Finally, stopping before your doorstop, he let go of your wrist and turned around to face you. "Let's walk home together after school, 'kay?"

So you did. Everyday after school. Even after Kai and Nya were old enough to live alone in their parents house without your parents having to check on them as much anymore. First, he would walk you to your house and then to his. You didn't talk much on these walks and when you did it was a short exchange of jab. But that didn't matter because when you looked him you still saw that same recklessness, the same loudness but also something that gave you a strange sense of safety.

Something you did not know though was that just like Kai gave you sense of safety, you gave him a sense of Vigor. You made him feel like he was enough without you even trying to, not even once since you had met him had you questioned his capabilities. You haven't pitied him for losing his parents either. And even though he might not admit let alone show it, he will always be grateful to you for it.

After Kai's sister was kidnapped and retrieved, he left the village to train under someone named Wu.

You shouldn't feel as empty as you did when the lack of his presence hit you at night, or so you told yourself. But you did.

In the past, if someone had asked if you two were an item, you had always denied. "He's just likes to annoy me." Or "He's just my neighbour." Were answers you had given them.

But with him gone, you started to ask yourself "What am I to him now?" He wasn't your neighbour anymore, no, he didn't live next to you anymore. You two have also never considered yourself friends. It seemed to you like there was no label for the two of you, or so it seemed.

After spending the rest of teenage years in the village, you decided it was time to change your scenery and perspective.

After moving to Ninajago city, you settled in quite quickly. Having a pretty good apartment in the center of the city gave you a good view over anything that was happening in the city.

Despite it already being a few years after Kai and Nya left the village you still recieved mail from Nya. Every month atleast a letter of hers would find its way into you mailbox. Asking how you're holding up and stuff, occasionally sneaking in a "kai's still always asking about you, you know?"

You had always brushed it off, ofcourse he'd ask about the child of the people who helped him and his sister when they had lost their parents.

But something about the thought of him, the guy who had an enormous big ego to uphold, asking about you, who had never done anything to spike said ego and rather done the opposite (or so you think), brought a smile to your lips.

That thought replaying again and again in your head so often that one day, on your way home you were utterly and completely lost in thought that you didn't even notice a suspiciously shadowed figure following you since the last 4 blocks.

Finally having realised you were being followed, some would say it was too late for you. The figure having one cold hand holding a handkerchief over you mouth.

Some were not all apparently.

One strong thrust of fire was all that was needed to send the figure flying backwards.

You, being utterly confused looked back only to see someone dressed in crimson red attire, masked face and all. "Hey, you alrigh-"

The red dressed strangers first mistake seemed to be not having made sure you didnt see him as danger aswell.

Because the next thing you know, your adrenaline influenced body tackles him to the ground with all the strength you can gather.

With a harsh thud, both the stranger and you fall to the ground. You didn't think this through, you realize, you didn't think at all. Because instead of knocking the stranger out like you had hoped, to your confusion, he laughed out loud.

"Easy, I'm not the one who tried on kidnapping you, y'know?" His words made you look around, spotting a passed out person a few feet away from you both, you quickly tried standing up and composing yourself to apologise properly.

"Sir I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention and then there was this hand and-" You blurted out not even noticing how the 'stranger' stared at you with widened eyes, like he knew something you didn't.

Before you could open your mouth again to word your apology better, he took off the the cloths covering his face, leaving you just as wide eyed.

Kai. That was the only word that echoed in your head in that moment.

୭ ˖ confession 𓏻 ✦

It already being dark outside and your apartment still being blocks away, Kai had offered you to stay for the where him and 'the other ninja' lived.

Originally, you had wanted to refuse but already being shaken up and not having an exactly clear head you agreed. Even after years of separation he still gave you that sense of safety you didn't realise you missed as much as you did.

After dining with and meeting 5 new faces (you can only guess are 'Sensei Wu' and his other students) and reuniting with one familiar one, Nya, ofcourse. Kai showed you to the room you would be staying in for the night.

Standing awkwardly in the doorway, staring at you as you took in your new room for the night. He had that look, that you had learned in your childhood meant that he wanted to say something but the rare insecurity was nagging him.

"Where has that overconfident boy i remeber gone to? Don't tell me you've had some character development?" You asked, trying your best to keep the mood light with a remark, like you always have done in the past.

"Go out with me and you can be the judge of that." He replied, almost too fast, even for himself. Lips twitching before stretching into a grin.

Despite him and you having had a rough start, he still is the sweetest boyfriend ever.

Ofcourse you still argue sometimes but honestly others say you just look like an old married couple. (Kinda were like that even in the past)

Love language (give and recieve):

If you haven't noticed already,I really tried to make Kai seem like the protective guy he is. So obviously I would say his love language is acts of service as in him always making sure your safe and sound is his primary way of showing affection. Alone teh thought of you being seriously hurt, especially because of him makes him feel sick to his stomach, so please for the sake of his heart rate, try to stay out of trouble if you can.

To recieve, I believe he would appreciate word of affirmation the most though. Yes, he is that overconfident guy but he does, like how the show often reveals, often get insecure. That's also why thing reader not doubting his capabilities his a very big thing to him.

Yeah he definitely calls you atleast one variant of 'baby' or 'babe'.

If he's feeling romantic or sappy; 'my flame' or 'gorgeous'.

I can see him liking being called 'honey' or 'handome'. And when you sarcastically call him 'my hero' during one of your bickerings his ego is (secretly) THRIVING.

The door swings open, and there he is, his steps unsteady, his eyes glazed but unmistakably locked on you the moment he notices your presence. His lips tug into a crooked, boyish grin as he stumbles toward you, his voice slurring with affection.“You’re here… my everything,” he murmurs, his arms immediately reaching for you, pulling you close in an almost desperate embrace. His scent is heavy with alcohol, but there’s something tender in the way he holds you, clinging as though letting go isn’t an option.You guide him to sit on the edge of the bed, and he obeys like a lovesick puppy, still gripping your wrist as if afraid you’ll leave.

His gaze follows your every movement while you grab a damp cloth, his eyes brimming with adoration despite his drunken state.“You’re too good to me, you know that? What did I… do to deserve you?” His voice cracks slightly, his head leaning against your shoulder when you kneel in front of him to clean his face. His warmth seeps through your clothes as he nuzzles into you, his lips brushing against the crook of your neck in an unsteady kiss.“Stay close. Please… don’t let go,” he whispers, his words slurred but filled with raw emotion. His hand moves to your waist, holding you like you’re the only thing keeping him grounded in the spinning world.You manage to clean him up, his skin flushed from the alcohol, his eyes heavy-lidded but still burning with possessive intensity.

You try to pull back to grab a fresh shirt for him, but he tightens his grip, pulling you into his lap, his lips brushing against your temple.“Don’t leave me tonight. Just… stay.” His plea is soft but commanding, his arms wrapping around you fully, locking you in place against his chest. His scent might be strong, but his presence is overwhelming in the best way, his drunken vulnerability exposing just how much he craves you.

You sigh, a mixture of affection and exasperation filling your chest as you brush his hair out of his face. His head tilts slightly into your touch, and his eyes flutter closed for a moment, like he’s savoring the simple act.“You really overdid it this time,” you murmur softly, your tone gentle but firm. His eyes crack open to meet yours, slightly hazy but still focused on you.“I’m fine,” he slurs, though the slight wobble in his voice betrays his words. He tries to sit up straighter, but his grip on you only tightens, as if terrified you’ll pull away.“No, you’re not fine,” you counter, your hands cupping his face to make him look at you. His cheeks are warm beneath your touch, and his lips part slightly as if to protest, but you cut him off.

“You drank too much. Again. You can’t keep doing this.”His expression shifts, guilt flickering across his features, but it’s quickly replaced by something far more vulnerable.“I just… I missed you,” he admits, his voice cracking slightly. His hands grip your waist, grounding himself in your presence. “It’s too quiet when you’re not around. I hate it. I hate when you’re far.”The words catch you off guard, his usually composed demeanor crumbling under the weight of the alcohol and his emotions. You soften slightly, though your resolve remains firm.“That’s no excuse,” you reply, brushing your thumb across his cheek.

“I’m here now, but you can’t keep putting yourself through this.”He lets out a heavy sigh, his forehead dropping to your shoulder as his arms wrap fully around your waist.“I know… I know,” he murmurs, his voice muffled against your skin. “I’ll stop. I promise. Just… don’t be mad at me, okay?”His vulnerability tugs at your heart, and though you want to stay firm, you can’t help but lean into him, your arms wrapping around his broad shoulders.“I’m not mad. I just… worry about you,” you admit, your voice softening as you hold him close. He clings to you like a lifeline, his body relaxing slightly at your words.You feel him press a lingering kiss to your shoulder, his lips warm against your skin as he whispers, “I’ll do better. For you. I swear.”

You let out a soft sigh, your resolve to stay stern melting as you look at him. His eyes are heavy-lidded and glassy, but they’re full of something raw—love, guilt, and desperation all swirling together. His vulnerability is laid bare, and in this moment, all you can feel is the overwhelming need to reassure him.

Without a word, you lean in, pressing your lips to his. The kiss is soft, lingering, and full of quiet promises. You pull back slightly, your hands still resting on his face as his arms remain locked around your waist. His lips press into a small pout, clearly unhappy with the sudden space between you.“Come on,” you murmur gently, brushing a stray strand of hair from his forehead. “You need to drink some water before you pass out.”He groans softly, shaking his head like a stubborn child, his arms tightening around you.“No… just wanna stay like this,” he mumbles, nuzzling into the crook of your neck. His lips press a warm, lazy kiss against your skin, his affection unrestrained in his drunken state.“You’ll feel awful in the morning if you don’t,” you counter, your voice firm but patient. You gently untangle yourself from his hold, and though he protests with a small whine, he reluctantly lets you go, his hand still reaching out to grasp yours.You grab a glass of water and return to him, his eyes never leaving you for a second. He’s still sitting on the edge of the bed, his head slightly drooped but his gaze locked on you like you’re the only thing keeping him tethered.

“Here,” you say, holding the glass out to him.He stares at it for a moment, then at you, before taking it with a dramatic sigh. He drinks slowly, his eyes flicking back up to yours between sips, like he’s afraid you’ll disappear if he looks away for too long.“Happy now?” he mutters after finishing, his tone playful but soft. He sets the glass on the nightstand before pulling you back to him, his arms sliding around your waist again.“Yes, actually,” you reply with a small smile, letting him hold you as he rests his head against your stomach. His hands rub gentle circles on your sides, his touch warm and reassuring even in his drunken haze.You comb your fingers through his hair, feeling his body relax further with each pass of your hand. His breathing starts to slow, his grip loosening just slightly as sleep begins to creep in.

“Don’t leave, okay?” he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper.“I’m not going anywhere,” you promise, your voice soothing as you continue stroking his hair.

oh gosh them sharing things. yeah, anything either of them owns just belongs to the both of them. like there are just no boundaries anymore, they share it all. it's almost natural bc they're teenage boys and they're the same age so of course they'd share interests and clothes but it makes everyone suspect that they're together and they're just adorably clueless and think nothing of it.

akdkaksjd gosh they so WOULD brush their teeth together and try to mess with each other to get as much foam on each other's faces as possible. i can just hear their laughter as they knock into each other and probably end up flicking their wet toothbrushes at each other or straight up squeezing toothpaste out of the tube at each other bc they're that dumb/silly and they ruin their pjs/clothes but it's worth it. (like whoever ends up the cleanest wins and gets to brag about it the rest of the day, lol)

so it’d probably be formatted as, like, a numbered list of actual tips regarding, like how to invite someone to go with you, what to talk about, how to make the first move, etc. but it’s all separated/punctuated by little scenes in which billy actually applies all of these techniques, casually asking freddy to go stargazing (but being all nonchalant/friendly like “hey dude, the stars are really bright tonight, wanna go look at them?), awkwardly asking him about school and stuff while they’re sat there looking at the stars, billy lying that he’s cold so he can slide in closer and probably making a cheesy comment about how the stars are pretty but freddy is prettier. (and freddy just laughs and billy smiles and freddy’s the one who ends up kissing him first and it just ends with them sharing a few sweet kisses)
