“Mmm…” Beyond’s fingers were sticky with strawberry jam, but he couldn’t stop sucking on them.  Like a pacifier for the criminally insane.  But he didn’t mind.  He had something special in front of him.  And he certainly wasn’t complaining, “Aren’t you a delectable little snack for me?”

“What?” Beyond scoffed, getting another round from the jar, “This isn’t doing it for you?”

“Not particularly,” Naomi rolled her eyes, “When you said you were taking me somewhere nice tonight, I didn’t think in your terms.  I was thinking…Oh, I don’t know, maybe the Cheesecake Factory.  Maybe a nice walk in the park.  Not the finest fucking crack den downtown LA had to offer.”

“Oh, relax,” Beyond got up and took a seat next to her, “If it makes you feel any better, you’re still the prettiest one here.”

“That’s because I’m not rolling on anything and all my teeth are still in my mouth,” Naomi brushed him off, “Can I go yet?  Because I need to get back to-”

“NO!” Beyond snapped, knowing exactly who she needed to get back to.  He wasn’t letting her go.  Not that easily.  And certainly not to him.  Beyond grabbed Naomi by her shoulder, “You’re not going anywhere, Naomi.  You’re staying right here.  Do you know why you’re staying here?”

“B…” Naomi’s voice softened in fear, “You’re hurting me…”

“That’s right,” Beyond picked her chin up, “Because you’re mine.  You’re not his.  You’re.  Mine.  Do you understand?”

“I have to go,” Naomi quivered a bit.  She knew Beyond could be a little bit of a loose cannon, but that didn’t mean he didn’t still fascinate her.  She hoped that one day, he’d be able to come around.  That one day, he and L could get along.  That one day, his blind obsession with both L and Naomi would even out.  But no.  That was a child’s wish. 

“No,” Beyond sat in Naomi’s lap, “You don’t.  You really don’t.  Please, Naomi.  Don’t go anywhere.  Don’t leave me…Because at the end of the day, you’re still mine, aren’t you?”

i'm gonna be so serious here and say that L doesn't have any specific kinks as much as he likes to take people apart like puzzle boxes by whatever means necessary. the ultimate vers switch. it's easier to name what he's not into, like voyeurism, because stakeouts have really inured him to watching people doing anything. there's really no thrill there anymore. he likes being surprised and overwhelmed nearly as much as he likes exerting his dominance over others, so you could probably say he's a fan of brat taming. he gets turned off by instant submission just as much as light does and gets off on humiliating light specifically. it's like winning and by god, he fucking loves winning.
