God is just too good to me
He blesses me in so many ways. I know he is there. I feel him all the time. He is the beauty in the storm.
When I am lost, he finds me. We talk about finding God...but is he hiding from us? No, he is seeking us. He is looking for us and he wants to be a part of our lives.
He wants to find us. He will find us and he does find us.
Why do I believe in God? I see him every day. I see him in my parents, who have taken care of me, who raised me, who built me up. I see him in the sparkling eyes of children, especially my younger brothers and sisters.
I see him in the beauty of nature, in the way a mother cat knows how to take care of her kittens, in the way a mother bird feeds her babies. In the way the sun sets and rises on time each day.
I see him in the sunshine. I see him in rainstorms and in the stars at night. I watch as he paints a sunset across the periwinkle sky, a new painting just for us.
I see him in families, in people who reach out and help each other, in people who sacrifice for their country, for their loved ones, for their families.
He is important to me. Because I love God. But more importantly, because he loves me.
