Betta rescue and adoption is a go! Meet the first adoptable!

Julian is an adult male crowntail. He’s still getting used to his new tank, so he’s a bit clamped, but relaxing.

He’s got a bit of swelling, a couple holes in his tail, and it looks like his gills are a bit inflamed or burned from ammonia. Once he heals up and fills out, he’s going to be so handsome.

Currently, the only adoptable one is Julian, a red crowntail betta. I don’t have space to take any more Bettas, but if I can adopt him out, I can rescue another.

He has no adoption fee now! I don’t want to do this for profit, and it’s my hobby now. The only ‘fee’ is shipping ^^

Right now, it’s too cold to ship him, if anyone wants to adopt him. I can ship him in mid-late January, though, since it gets warmer here.

Lucien’s improving so fast. He’s colored up so much and is so outgoing! He’s a lot less afraid of me, too. He won’t swim up to the surface when I feed him like my other boys, but he’s so much less shy. I think he’ll be up for adoption at least in two weeks!
