I am so in love with how quickly so much of #pjo fanart is based off how the actors look.
Like I feel like there must have been so much worry from the actors, producers, film crew and maybe even Rick about how the fandom would react to how different they all look from the books you know? Especially because after the movies, this fandom has been so earnest and ready and eager and desperate to receive a show that accurately depicts what we've been visualising for yearsssss.
But like seeing the fanart and watching the show and all the interviews, as well as seeing all the effort the cast and crew put in to deliver the #pjo story of our DREAMS just makes how they look not matter so much.
Like the cast was beautifully selected. The spirit of the books is just so evident. These guys are the living embodiment of their characters and oh my gosh it's just so refreshing to see and feel exactly what we always expected and hoped to see and feel watching this!!! But the fanart!??!! That has me giddy on a whole other level. Especially for Leah. She's the perfect Annabeth Chase. It's actually so cool seeing just how close she is to the character in her interviews
