so I don’t usually enjoy straight ships, like I don’t ‘get’ or connect with them I just know I don’t always have to and its important to consume media that’s not just the same stuff you understand over and over again unlike a homophobic old woman who doesn’t ‘get’ gay people or whatever

i have found that while I don’t usually get attached with (canonically) cishet relationships, Joe Fisher has time and time again reliably written ships that break that norm. I’m not sure what it is, but Midnight Burger has more straight ships I enjoy than any other fiction podcast combined. Like I just checked, there’s only two and they’re Eiffera and Chaptigone. Ava and Caspar? Clementine and Terric? Leif and BertBert? Gloria and Brodie? Frank and Trinkett? Effie and Zebulon mother fucking Mucklewain?????
