I’ve also been holding off on reading the book because I know what changes the series made and I VASTLY prefer the series’ version for the most part. Plus some of the isolated quotes I’ve read are just...odd.

Loki taking over for Dr. Strange sounds like an improvement.

I don’t really remember why it happened but in one of the Squirrel Girl comics she goes to find Dr. Strange because she needs to find someone who might be able to talk to a housecat (long story, and it turns out none of the Marvel heroes who are cat-themed can actually talk to cats!) and she goes to Dr. Strange’s house and Loki answers the door (because in some other comic he recently took over for Dr. Strange) and she’s like “Uhhh hello?”

AND THEN THEY ACCIDENTALLY GO ON AN ADVENTURE TOGETHER AND LOKI DESIGNS A SPACE OUTFIT FOR HER AND SHAPESHIFTS A LOT AND THE SILVER SURFER IS THERE AND IT’S SO GOOD

I’m very sorry to say that ep 6 was the last of Jaskier for season 1. But he will be back next time!
