I feel like I need to say this because this needs to be said. Cutting your kid's hair off , making a video for all to see is not fucking parenting. It's bullying and it needs to stop. Be a better parent and PARENT. You are the adult, act like it. Do you know what you're doing to your kid? Well let me tell you. Bullying them* let's say your daughter or son came home from school with a choppy bald head, crying. They tell you that some fellow students held them down and cut off their hair, made a video and put it on instagram. You would be upset. You would probably report it to the police and want justice for your child. You likely would tell everyone, including news outlets, about this tragedy. It would be a CRIME. Embarrassing them* you know damn well what you're doing. You WANT to embarrass your child. You want them to know that when they are bad, they will get embarrassed. You actually hope the video goes viral. You want everyone to pat you on the back. No. You are telling your child that you are failing them. All those years of marching up to the school because someone is doing exactly what you are doing will be void. Them thinking you will protect them, void. You being a role model for your child, dead in the water. You are being everything you teach your child not to be. There's no real lesson in shaving off your child's hair. Basically what you're saying is, you can't look how you want because you don't listen to me. I don't care if you get teased. In fact, I want you to get teased because you don't listen to me. Maybe the depression and anxiety will make you a better listener. After all the teasing, you just might be good. Hopefully you're too afraid of death to end your life after I break you down and make you hate living. Yes your child can easily be pushed into suicide. Why? Because they're fucking kids. They seek validation. They need to feel loved and liked in order to survive. Majority of children do things without thinking, that's what kids do. Their appearance means a lot to them. How their peers see them means a lot to them . So next time you feel like doing this fucked up shit to your kid. Go to google, type in suicide rates and think, is this shit worth my child's life. Do better.
